North State Beer Co. launched in 2023. You’d think starting a new brewery during a global pandemic would be madness but actually, it was perfect. It gave us the time we needed to do things right. As mates (seven of us), we were looking for ways to spend more time together outside the craziness of everyday life. Our passion for beer gave us a golden opportunity to do just that by building a brewery and brewing our own. So with a love of the amber nectar and a promise to make simply great beers North State Beer Co. was born.

OUR BRAND

Our name and our identity are a nod towards our Northern routes. But it is so much more. It represents a place where good times rule and great beers flow.

Our founder's mark (shown opposite) was inspired by the shadow of a pint, cast on a sunny day. It also represents us, the seven founders, and our guarantee of simply great beer.

OUR BREWERY

Our belief is simple – great beer should be for everyone. Not just the beer connoisseurs or hops heroes but for the everyday legends. Beer accompanies so many incredible moments in life, it brings friends and strangers together, it celebrates winning moments no matter how big or small, it champions good times.

We hope that by not taking ourselves too seriously we can make sure all our energy goes into crafting great tastes. This means sourcing the best ingredients we can from the finest farms around, utilising the best technology and understanding that the taste we deliver is everything.

OUR MISSION

As well as make some great beers we want to make sure we leave a positive impact on the community around us and the world at large. Bringing people together to try and do great things and make the world a better place for it.

From the start, we will be donating 5% of our annual profits to a local charity. We won't stop there with big plans from launch and for the near future.

  • North State Beer Co Play All Day American Pale Ale

    Recycled Packaging

    We use EarthFirst® shrink sleeves on our cans. Our shrink sleeves safely compost into natural, organic substances. Our packaging boxes use recycled materials and are fully FSC certified and BRC certified.

  • Renewable Energy

    We plan to install solar panels to the roof of our brewery to provide 10% of our energy needs.

  • Recycled Water

    We will be installing a rain water filtration system as well as recycling water from our beer production process.

  • Carbon Reduction to Neutral

    Our aim is to be carbon neutral. To achieve this we will work with accredited partners to introduce removal initiatives into our brewery.

  • Recycle Grains

    Working with local farms we aim to recycle all of our spent grains to be used as farm feed.
